Es Devlin Unveils Stunning Concertina Cover for Wallpaper*'s 30th Anniversary Issue

In a celebration of creativity and design, the October 2026 issue of Wallpaper* marks the magazine's 30-year milestone with a striking limited-edition cover by renowned designer Es Devlin. This special issue features contributions from guest editors that include artist Carrie Mae Weems and the skate brand Palace Skateboards, each bringing their unique vision to the publication.

Devlin, celebrated for her immersive stage designs and sculptures, has crafted a breathtaking 16-page concertina cover. This artistic piece showcases a panorama of her scenographic creations and features perforated designs that, when the cover is closed, form an iris shape reminiscent of her 'Iris' sculpture from her recent exhibition at the Cooper Hewitt museum in New York.
