In a decisive action against terrorism, security forces eliminated 12 terrorists during an intelligence-based operation in Kalat district, Balochistan, as reported by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.

The operation, executed on Wednesday, targeted individuals linked to the terrorist group Fitna al Hindustan, which the Pakistani military alleges is supported by India. According to the ISPR, this designation aims to underscore India’s purported involvement in fostering instability within Pakistan.

ISPR's press release detailed that the operation involved tracking the terrorists' hideout, leading to a swift surgical strike that resulted in the elimination of all 12 militants. Additionally, a significant amount of ammunition and improvised explosive devices were destroyed during the engagement. Following this operation, security forces are conducting sanitization efforts to root out any remaining threats in the region. The military reaffirmed its commitment to the ongoing counter-terrorism initiative, Azm-i-Istehkam, aimed at eradicating foreign-sponsored terrorism throughout the country.
